Design and music have always been my two great loves. Growing up, my life was filled with music—from Sunday mornings with a speaker playing through the house, to concerts and music festivals, to piano lessons. Music has always been a constant, shaping my creativity and fueling my passion for design. As a result, I felt compelled to give music a special place in my design world.

Creating my Spotify account in middle school, I knew that my liked songs and playlists would evolve alongside my design journey. Just as design trends shift, so does music taste, reflecting personal growth and changing inspirations.

To merge these two passions, I designed an invitation for a Spotify retreat, featuring live music, opportunities to meet musicians, and a variety of engaging activities. The goal was to incorporate beautiful imagery, dynamic shapes, and striking typography to showcase my design skills.

For the retreat invitation, I drew inspiration from the aesthetic of album covers, blending captivating visuals with carefully chosen words. The design evokes the feel of a camp sign, highlighting the various activities planned for the weekend in a playful yet organized manner. This project allowed me to combine my love for music with my design expertise, resulting in an invitation that is as inviting and memorable as the event itself.
