Sullivans fish camp re design

After spending a summer living in Charleston, South Carolina and discovering one of my favorite restaurants, I knew this place would be a creative project to work on. I chose to redesign Sullivan's Island Fish Camp, a beloved seafood restaurant on Sullivan's Island, South Carolina, known for its delicious Southern seafood cuisine and drinks. This project encompassed creating a new logo, business card, menu, and merchandise, including hats, all designed to reflect the unique charm and vibrant spirit of the restaurant.

Using Adobe InDesign, I crafted a cohesive visual identity that captures the essence of Sullivan's Island Fish Camp. I was inspired by the fish concept, creating a logo to look like fish and bones and making sure to add a fish to every aspect of the pieces. The design incorporates oceanic colors and marine motifs, creating a fresh and inviting look that resonates with both locals and visitors.

The business card design follows the same visual language, ensuring consistency across the brand. The card features a fish (of course), along with clean typography and essential contact information. The design is both professional and personable, reflecting the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant.

For the menu, I focused on readability and aesthetic appeal. The layout is organized and easy to navigate, with sections clearly delineated for each specific layout of the meny. The design incorporates subtle coastal elements and a color palette inspired by the sea, enhancing the dining experience by evoking the ambiance of Sullivan's Island.

In addition to print materials, I designed hats as part of the restaurant's merchandise. These hats feature the new logo and are styled to appeal to both tourists and regular patrons, serving as both functional items and souvenirs that promote the restaurant's brand.

I utilized Photoshop to place these designs into realistic templates, creating mockups that showcase how each element will appear in real-world settings. This project demonstrates my ability to create a unified brand identity across various mediums, showcasing my skills in graphic design, layout, and branding. I am proud of the results, which effectively capture the spirit of Sullivan's Island Fish Camp and elevate its visual presence.
